Thor’s Well and the Spouting Horn
There is a path to walk down to Thor’s Well, and I flew out over the people to look at the Well from the air. Then I flew over the lava beds which line the coast here.
Thor’s well is a sea cave with a collapsed roof. On rough days, water rushing into the cave at high tide will cause white foam to slosh up in the hole.
Similarly, under those two conditions (rough day and high tide), the Spouting Horn is a nearby crevice causes a spout of spray when a wave rushes in. I was there on two days when the tide was too low for much action.
